Martin Symonds, an expert in teaching Mandarin and the author of the widely-used Chinese textbook “Chinese Made Easier” (CME), gave a lecture on learning type analysis to intern teachers in our Chinese Teacher Training Program on March 13th .

CME has been utilized for the past 20 years by numerous language schools and universities to teach Mandarin to international learners. In response to the success of his textbook, Martin Symonds has been invited by numerous schools to give teacher training.

It is essential for students to understand their individual learning style and it is even more important for teachers to be aware of their students’ learning styles in order to provide the best assistance and enable them to make consistent progress.
